Special Assessment 2013

Project Complete: The collapsed runoff pipe has been repaired. Spencer Contracting has done an excellent job. See the pictures below taken during the project. The 18 month loan was paid off in 10 months.

Collapsed Pipe

A collapsed run-off drain pipe and a damaged sewer on Sunny Brook Court will be a very expensive repair as outlined in the June Newsletter.  The price to have these repaired will cost the subdivision $32,000, assuming there’s no unexpected damage.  Our HOA is responsible for the maintenance and repairs to our subdivision.  This expense will be spread among all the residents in our neighborhood with City & Village overseeing the collections of the special assessment.

The size of the collapse is 14 feet in width and 20 feet in length. It is the drainage pipe from the primary retention pond to the secondary retention pond in this part of our neighborhood. Due to the collapse of the pipe it is eroding this family's backyard and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

Special Assessment Meeting

Our subdivision needs to vote on the special assessment. To see the damage first-hand and vote we will be holding the special assessment meeting on July 18, 2013 at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be located on the cul de sac at the end of Sunny Brook Ct. Please find the Special Assessment Ballot Form below if you will not be able to attend. You can also find the proxy form below. A Proxy form is used when a homeowner wishes to give permission/legal rights to another person to vote on their behalf, otherwise the ballot is the appropriate form needed to vote
